People dedicate a large part of our lives to their profession in order to earn a living, pay bills or pay off loans. However, many people are in the situation of being able to stay afloat from month to month with only a few euros or being in the balance with only a few euros. The balance of the account is highly correlated to one’s own financial competence and the mindset about money.
The inner attitude is very important.
The inner attitude is more important than just having the right knowledge. It is about a wealth-consciousness. Unfortunately, only a few percent of people get the right mindset for money in their education. If parents come up with beliefs such as “money is dirty” or “money is not so important”, then the child is almost automatically conditioned to these beliefs and usually thinks similarly in later life.
To break out of this tightly tied corset of conditioned and unconscious behaviors, which are decisive for financial success, is hard work, but not impossible.
First and foremost it is important to become aware of one’s existing beliefs.
Questions such as:
- What do you think about money?
- What did you learn about money in the past?
- What does your current financial situation look like?
- What sentences say about money or do you think more often?
With these questions you can determine an as-is state which forms the basis for a conscious examination of your inner attitude towards money. If you are intensively concerned with these questions, more questions and answers are likely to emerge. After identifying your beliefs, deal with your behaviors and actions.
Observe which actions reflect your discovered beliefs. Each time you perform an action that is caused by a negative belief about money, you pause for a moment. Observe the context objectively. Over time you will notice that just by observing a new positive consciousness emerges.
This is one of many ways that can help you develop a wealth consciousness. Read a similar article: Why is financial education essential for your success? – Maxim Bederov
